There's a lot of uncertainty ahead as we head into the season of summer 2021. It is a concern about the manner the service we provide to the community will include the highly valued human connection as Rotary participants had in previous times. But it's clear that the hand-to-face tradition remains a part of our daily routine. But Rotary has evolved. The months that will lead up to the summer of 2021, there is still uncertainty about what we can do to provide services to the community that is based on the human connections enjoyed by Rotary previous members. Though the old adage of 'hands face space' will undoubtedly remain a part of our daily routine it is apparent that the confidence building is evident and more face-to-face connections occur. Rotary's changing. The Rotary network helps build friendships which last. The pandemic served as the catalyst for us to take on the latest technology. Our practices have been refined to keep online meetings at the forefront of our businesses, while reintroducing events for service and social in an in-person format. Our newfound opportunities have combined with the lessons we have learned from previous outbreaks to provide a brand and new perspective for Rotary. It is a great feeling to know that Rotary Centre continues to support the communities of Great Britain and Ireland, Rotary Center continues to fund the many community projects that benefit the people who are members of Rotary and keep them safe, compliance and Insurance are essential. Amazingly, our Rotarians have been able to develop innovative and inventive solutions for the toughest challenges. This is the reason I was thrilled to have the chance to join Rotary when I joined in the year 2002. Rotary as well as many other clubs, has helped me build a solid network of people with the same values as me and from whom I have developed genuine relationships over the past 20 years. We must now spread the word about Rotary by inviting family, friends as well as coworkers to join.
