Nancy O'Dell's radio career started as an anchor and journalist for WPDE-TV Myrtle beach, South Carolina. She then worked as an anchor in the morning and a reporter at WCBD TV. O'Dell's reports in Charleston regarding the police's tolerance in DUI cases prompted a State Law Enforcement Division to investigate. This led to state authorities issuing more strict guidelines in these cases.
